Diving: Central Area
Caleta de Fuste another of the tourist resorts on the island of Fuerteventura with a first-class marina. This bay, presided over by an 18th century fortress on Castillo beach, makes this the ideal place for family holidays because of its particularly safe beach.

El Castillo
The contour interval to be found in this rocky area is between 5 and 15 metres deep. The sealife to be found here includes sea urchins, dusky grouper, and stingray.

Las Salinas
Walking from Caleta de Fuste along the Guirra path, you come to the town of Salinas del Carmen, which was named after the natural salt flats which could be found here and which were so important for the island's natural salt production, a commodity which was used to preserve certain foods such as fish, and today these are being restored. At the level of El Saltadero, a rocky area which waves crash against and the water runs into along channels to reach the drying pans, we can find this diving spot. The bed is made up of rocks forming a series of caves which are at a depth of between 7 and 100 metres.

Ajui
Ajui is a small fishing town situated in the central area of the island, on the northwest coast, with a small black-sanded beach. In front of the Ajui beach, there are some very interesting diving spots with a relatively unrocky seabed and underwater caves, high walls and wide passages. As you can only dive here in the summer months due to the strong sea winds, this area is rich in sealife.
