Coastal area to the east of Morro Jable. There is a salt marsh here with plenty of salt-tolerant plant species, such as saltgrass (Sarcocornnia fruticosa), shrubby seablite (Suaeda vera ) and sea-grape (Zygophyllum fontanesii). This area has been seriously affected by the tourist industry.
